For this week, students will learn how to create an index page. An index page can be found on most web pages, it allows a visitor to easliy find information on a website. It is like a directory, allowing the visitor to your site to find information easily and quickly. Once you have created the pages you can start adding information from your unit. The first topic is about drugs. The site below is excellent site for kids. Copy the important information from the site onto page 1 of your web site.

Firstly, copy and paste your photo onto your webpage, as this site is going to be about you and how you can stay healthy now and into the future.

Secondly follow the steps to create a frame and hyperlinks.

1. Go to Windows Button. Most the commands are placed here from previous versions of word to make space for more common buttons used in MS Word. This makes Word quicker and easier to use. From the Windows button go to WORD OPTIONS.

2. You need toclick on CUSTOMISE and choose ALL COMMANDS and add the FRAME button to your ribbon. The ribbon is a selection of smaller buttons that a user would use depending on who they are. A secretary would different commands from a website designer. So, Word allows you to adjust the selection of buttons to suit your needs.

3. Choose TABLE OF CONTENTS IN FRAME. A frame will appear in the left hand side of the webpage. From here delete the text which appears.

4. Add the page names via the WORD ART facility.
